Tuna on Recall By Bumblebee Corporation

Bumble Bee Foods LLC is recalling some of its 5-ounce canned tuna because of a risk the fish could spoil. Call the Accident Attorneys.

March 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Bumble Bee Foods LLC is being forced to recall one of there products. Specifically they are recalling 5-ounce canned tuna. The reason the tuna is being recalled is because there is a risk of the fish spoiling.  

On Wednesday the company informed that the seals on the cans are not tight enough. The loose seal can let pathogens in and spoil the tuna. This can be dangerous for the consumer. But fortunately, there have not been any reports of people becoming ill due to this product.

The tuna cans were distributed across the United States between January 17 and January 28. The products subject to the recall include Bumble Bee brand and Brunswick brand. This included 5-ounce cans of chunk white albacore in water and chunk light tuna in water and vegetable oil.
