Brandy Sullivan Explores The Fragile Psyche of Abusive Family Relations in New Book

Author Brandy Sullivan grew up facing trials and tribulations within a family that had its share of secrets. Now she taps into that experience in the first of a planned series of books based on true stories.
March 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Sullivan drew from her many experiences growing up to come up with plot ideas. “Family experiences are universal,” the author said. “You just put people together in any kind of semi-permanent way and all kinds of things happen.”

Sullivan also was attracted to the glaring misconception that child abuse is always physical. “I always felt connected to children I met who had faced neglect or simply lack of love and nurturing from the very people who should love them unconditionally.”
