GTM Sportswear honored for Kansas job creation over the past three years

March 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Manhattan, Kan. (Jan. 2013) – GTM Sportswear® was featured in the inaugural ranking of Inc.’s Hire Power Awards, recognizing private businesses that have generated the most jobs in the past three years.

GTM generated 443 jobs from 2008 to 2011, ranking first among the top 10 private business job creators within the state of Kansas. GTM also ranked 48th among the top 100 private business job creators in the nation.

Continuing their trend for job growth generation, GTM recently opened a new, state-of-the-art UltraFuse™ Sublimation Center at the GTM Sportswear campus and relocated the GTM Select™ cut-and-sew facility from Texas to Kansas. These and other GTM initiatives will lead to significant future job growth within the state of Kansas, and in the Manhattan and surrounding communities. GTM will utilize an incentive package from the Kansas Department of Commerce valued at over $2 million and looks to create nearly 650 jobs between 2013 and 2017.

Companies with less than $50 million in annual revenue make up nearly one-third of the Hire Power list.”
