New Loud Gypsy Rock Supergroup S.U.N. Cracks The Top-40 At Classic Rock

The New rock supergroup SOMETHING UNTO NOTHING (S.U.N.) - featuring multi-platinum Canadian vocalist and Juno Award winner SASS JORDAN, BRIAN TICHY on guitar (Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner, Ozzy), MICHAEL DEVIN on bass (Whitesnake, Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience, Kenny Wayne Shepherd) and drummer TOMMY STEWART (Godsmack, Lo Pro, Everclear, Fuel)--has physically released their debut full-length self-titled album in stores nationwide on Robo Records with distribution through Fontana/Universal Music.  The first single "I'm The One" from the album has already cracked the Top-40 on the nationwide BDS classic-rock radio chart...and continues to climb.

S.U.N. has been rising quickly in the classic rock world.  Brian Thomas Tichy, guitarist for the band recently received an unexpected call from Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) who requested Tichy to play drums with he and Joe Perry this Saturday March 10th, 2013 at the 10th Annual Stuart House Benefit hosted by John Varvatos.   Tichy said, "Getting a call like that is very surreal. You are engaged in a conversation with someone you have always put in your top 10 lists of most influential, best singers, and singer of coolest bands. As a little kid, I literally learned how to play drums by playing along to Aerosmith.  I told him how important he and the band were to me growing up. This is a total honor!"   Tichy had also played drums on Steven's 2011 single, "Feels So Good."

The band is grateful for all the support and positive feedback. “All of us in S.U.N. are psyched the single is charting so well at radio and that the album has been getting amazing reviews from fans and press-types alike,” says BRIAN. “You would have thought we were paying people to write this stuff! I had to ask Sass if she was mailing out checks for all these great words of support and high accolades!”
