Moulton, Alabama Author Wins Best Book Award of 2012
Author, Jane Carroll has been named first place winner in the Master Koda Best Book Awards of 2012 in the Traditionally Published category with her book Bertha Size Your Life!.
Kim Emerson, owner of MasterKoda.com stated, “We were pleased with the judge’s choice with Bertha Size Your Life. In the world of thousands of self help books, this one is truly unique and draws the reader in with its use of humor and charm. I’m hoping to see a lot more from this author in the next few years.”
When asked how the book evolved Carroll stated, “I wanted to write a book of exercises to help empty nest women discover their true identities. It was a boring book. Thankfully, Bertha hijacked the book with her spandex, high-heels, big red hair, flamingos, lime green attitude and big ideas.”
Carroll’s writing weaves a rich tapestry of humor, inspiration, and insight, making it the perfect encouragement for women of all ages but especially those experiencing an empty nest.
Ms. Carroll is a Life Coach, Registered Nurse, Reiki Master, mother, grandmother, and long-time student of life. She currently works as a school nurse at R. A. Hubbard High School in Courtland, AL and is a proud supporter of the Hubbard Chiefs. During summer vacation she can be seen riding her bicycle in rural Lawrence County.
The sequel to Bertha-Size Your Life! is slated for release later this year.
Bertha Size Your Life is available in ebook and paperback at http://www.amazon.com/
