Imbesi Christensen Files $2.1 Million Lawsuit Against South American Minerals, Inc.;NASDAQ OTC- SAMM
The law firm of Imbesi Christensen filed a lawsuit against South American Minerals, Inc., a publicly traded company (NASDAQ OTC Symbol: SAMM) on behalf of an estate, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
According to Vincent Imbesi, a partner of the law firm Imbesi Christensen, the lawsuit alleges the company breached a contract with the decedent, which required the repayment of money lent to the company. The lawsuit also alleges that the company failed to timely compensate the decedent for work performed on behalf of the company.
The complaint alleges that South American Minerals, Inc. is a Nevada corporation that was formed in 1967. The lawsuit alleges that the company, through its wholly owned subsidiary North American Resources Inc., Ltd. (“NARIL”), engages in dredging for alluvial placer gold on the Konawaruk River in Guyana, South America.
The lawsuit seeks damages in the amount of $2,173,000, for the alleged breach of contract, unjust enrichment and failure to compensate.
