Sister Attractions Hit The Trail And Lay On Easter Fun With HARIBO

March 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Ullswater ‘Steamers’ and the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway are working with HARIBO, who are donating extra Easter prize goodies for kids who head to either attraction with their families, in search of the fun being provided.
At the ‘Steamers’, passengers boarding a cruise vessel over the main Easter weekend will receive a quiz card. Anyone completing this and handing it in to the ‘Steamers’ team will receive some HARIBO treats in return.

On April 3, 9 and 10, the RSPB will be at the ‘Steamers’ Glenridding Pier and will be leading nature trails from Glenridding, as well as organising other interesting things to do.  Those who are the main winners of these activities will receive a flavour-filled HARIBO Easter Fun Bucket.

At the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, there will be a discovery trail to follow during the Easter weekend. This HARIBO Discovery Trail will have various HARIBO sweets for the best trail followers when they return to the starting station at Ravenglass or Dalegarth.

During this main Easter weekend, all children bringing their Teddy bears for a day out on the narrow gauge railway will be allowed to travel for free.  A ‘Best Bear’ competition will also be staged and there is a prize of a HARIBO Easter Fun Bucket up for grabs by the best Teddy, He must then share his treats with his owner and friends!

Marketing manager for both attractions, Rachel Bell, says: “We are delighted to be able to offer Easter Fun with HARIBO, which adds a new dimension to the exciting activities that we had already planned.  We expect to see lots of young HARIBO fans coming to see us and joining in with all the activities that we have on offer”.
