Medifast Weight Control Centers Partners With Friendship Weight in the Battle Against Obesity

March 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Langhorne, PA – P&S Weight Loss, franchise owners of Medifast Weight Control Centers in Southern Pennsylvania and Maryland, have reached an agreement today with Friendship Weight, a national online support service for the weight-conscious. This new program is initially testing in select PA and MD test markets with plans for a national rollout later this year.

Friendship Weight offers an online support system incorporating the client’s friends, family and co-workers. Clients report to their support group online on just their weekly weight fluctuations, but not their total weight. Friends and family members are encouraged to respond with support and encouragement, which are so critical for a successful weight loss experience.

Medifast Weight Control Centers offers a weight-loss program consisting of five satisfying Medifast meal replacements plus one meal of non-Medifast food daily. In addition, the client is guided each step of the way by his or her own personal weight loss counselor. Counselors not only weigh and measure a client’s progress they are there for support and to answer any questions about the program.
