Women's History Month Kick-off

March 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Kicking off Women's History Month Friday, March 1st at 6:30 pm Cierra's Corners will interview powerful and influential women all month long. Starting with Eveline Pierre, the daughter of Haitian parents, is the Executive Director, founder of the Haitian Heritage Museum, the first of it's kind in the United States of America and number 1 best selling author of "The Secret to Winning Big" a book that she co-authored with with success guru Brian Tracy. Pierre sits on the Board of Miami Dade County Commission for Women and their mission is To seek for every woman privilege equal to her potential and responsibility, to inspire in women desire for self-improvement and pride of being regardless of race, color, creed or age and to encourage involvement of women in matters pertaining to community progress.

Ms. Pierre has been seen on NBC 6 South Florida, CNN affiliates Comcast Media Makers and on WLRN Caribbean Current. Notably, Ms. Pierre is on the advisory board of Art Basel Miami Beach Brickell Avenue Literary Society and Miami Dade County Commission for Women. In 2012, Ms. Pierre has been awarded Black Street Excellence in Arts Award, ICABA Most Accomplished Caribbean American Executive, Miami Today 2011 front cover the “Achiever” and the In the Company of Woman Arts and Entertainment Women of the Year 2011. Pierre has taken part in many conferences: Florida Diversity Council, Women in Leadership, Jazz in the Gardens Women of Impact, and Haitian Women in Art just to name a few.
