The appointment of Mr. Mark W. Harris as CEO and President of Berlitz Corporation

ELS Educational Services, Inc. announces executive changes at Berlitz Corporation effective on April 1st, 2013. Mr. Mark W. Harris has been appointed CEO and President of Berlitz Corporation and will also continue to serve as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of ELS Educational Services. Ms. Yukako Uchinaga, chairman of the board, CEO and president of Berlitz Corporation, will be appointed honorary chairman.  

Mr. Harris joined the Berlitz organization in 1978, and has devoted his career to international education for more than three decades. In 1997 Mr. Harris led the management team which acquired ELS Educational Services for Berlitz, and since 1998 he has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of ELS Educational Services, and in 2000, Mr. Harris joined the Board of Directors as an Executive Vice President of Berlitz Corporation.
