Feb. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- La Habra California, February, 2013. /Project Manager/ --Managing a team is a circus to some, but how about making their teams perform? Is there anything else closer to define it aside from hell? There is no way a lousy team can make it to the top, in 2 steps; what it needs is a manager with a very strong personality and of course, experience.

Jennifer Whitt – Bridges, Director of Project Manager Ltd. Invoked as few steps to ensure a manager a brighter future to making his team performance better every step of the way. “I incorporated seven tips that I learned from the sports world. I was in sports and I am a sports player myself. So, whether you play sports or had children, maybe some of you who have musical, artistic talents, things that you can draw from of things where you worked on a team, I suggest you incorporate those.” Whitt – Bridges says.

The first step is to make sure that the team has a target; once the target is there, the manager should conduct regular and scheduled basis about the project. Third step is to ensure that everybody in the team has a drive, the manager should at the very least, know how to cheer his people up and if they have done a great job, he should greet them for doing a good one, instead of yapping at his team for any mistakes.

The trickiest part of handling a team to make it perform is by providing feedback to each if the team members and how to say things the positive way, good or bad. Tracking the members of the team and their progress is a very effective way to show them that you care, in and outside the office.

If there are people within the team who don’t perform well, the manager should coach him to success until the day he reaches the targets and surpass it. If anybody in the team hit the targets or surpassed it, it is always welcome to celebrate and reward them at least the smallest of things.

The other tricky part is to drop or bench the poor performers, don’t fire them, just find another position that suits them, maybe the one who failed accounting is very good in research or Marketing etc. to watch the full video about Team Management, just to or (with transcript).
