Snell & Wilmer Attorney M.C. Sungaila Participates in Upcoming California Conferences and Summits

M.C. Sungaila, appellate partner with Snell & Wilmer, will participate in the Civic Learning California Summit (the Summit) in Sacramento on February 28, 2103, and the Orange County Global Women’s Conference (OCGWC) in Anaheim on March 1, 2013.
 
Feb. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- ORANGE COUNTY – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Mary-Christine (M.C.) Sungaila, appellate partner in the firm’s Orange County office, will participate in the Civic Learning California Summit (the Summit) in Sacramento on February 28, 2103, and the Orange County Global Women’s Conference (OCGWC) in Anaheim on March 1, 2013.

The Summit, organized by California Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye, brings together leaders in education, law, organized labor, business and government to examine civic literacy in California. Sungaila will be one of a small group of these civic leaders, including U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, participating in the summit. The event will also recognize the winners of the Civic Learning Award for California public high schools and spotlight successful efforts to engage students in civic learning.

OCGWC, organized by Coastline Community College Foundation, is a platform committed to diversity, inclusion, facilitating the situation of women leaders and progressing feminine, authentic and global leadership. Sungaila will moderate OCGWC’s opening panel, “Lead Like a Woman,” which includes leaders who will discuss the qualities of leadership, courage, vision, strength and empowerment. The panel includes Lucy Dunn, the President of Orange County Business Council, Kay Napier, CEO of Arbonne, Betty Renigfro Uribe, Ed.D., Executive Vice President of California Bank & Trust and Susan Wise, President of Long Beach Harbor Board of Commissioners.
