David W. Cogan Mutual Bank
-- David W. Cogan, retired president and chief executive officer of Mutual Bank, has been re-elected to a three-year term as a director of the bank.
Cogan has served on the Board since 1983 and is also a member of the Executive Committee.
Cogan began his banking career with Charlestown Savings Bank. In 1981 he joined Mutual Bank, then doing business as Mutual Federal Savings and Loan Association, and was named president in 1989. During his tenure, Mutual Bank established a consumer mortgage lending division and grew by over forty percent. Cogan retired as president in 2003, but retained his seat on the Mutual Bank board.
Cogan and his wife, Deryll, make their home in Norwell, where he enjoys golf, travel, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.About Mutual Bank
