LED sight glass lights approximate daylight at mid-day (4800-6300 Kelvin) while halogen sight glass lights approximate dusk (2800 Kelvin) and cause eye strain.

LED sight glass lights give operators a well-lit glare-free view of their chemical and pharmaceutical processes, with the added benefit of aiding corporate green initiatives. LED luminaires provide more than five times the lumens per watt than incandescent luminaires. An incandescent luminaire converts 85% of the input power into heat, while an LED luminaire converts only 5% of its input power into heat.
