Feb. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Princeton, NJ -- The Midmarket Institute (www.midmarket.org) has added a searchable video page to its advanced Knowledge Center, which already provides search results that relate text-based content to the unique challenges of midsize companies. Now, these results include videos that help midmarket executives run their companies better.

The Institute already offers its members one of the largest Midmarket resource libraries in the world featuring articles, reports and writings of great interest to the executives of midsize companies and those that meet their needs. The search feature added for videos only enhances the library’s value for users.

The videos offered through the Knowledge Center cover a wide range of topics including: confronting the unique challenges of midmarket manufacturing companies; implementing successful family-owned business practices; embracing the realities of being a company that choose to be great, rather than just grow; management of employee owned companies; and the latest expert advice offered to midsize exporters.

Among the notable business leaders video-interviewed by Ram Iyer, CEO of The Midmarket Institute, include: Mr. Paul Darley, CEO of Darley & Company, a family owned business in Illinois; Mr. Michael Campbell, Chairman of Mannington Mills in New Jersey; and several thought leaders in Germany’s Mittelstand including Dr. Patrick Adenauer, President of the German Family-owned Business Association (ASU) and Dr. Hermann Simon, author of ‘Hidden Champions’. While most Knowledge Center videos require paid organizational membership, there are several that simply require free registration for viewing. One of the goals of the free videos is also to raise public awareness of the midmarket - a previously neglected yet important business sector that is responsible for nearly 1/3 of national GDP and 1/3 of all private sector employment.
