About the Earth-Day E-Waste Scavenger Hunt™, The Earth Day E-Waste Scavenger Hunt helps to protect the global environment by reducing E-Waste in communities, landfills, and high-desserts due to illegal-dumping. We prevent exposure of various hazardous toxins (Mercury, Lead, Cadmium, etc) found in E-Waste, from polluting our soil and water systems. We also help save natural resources through the recycle and reuse of the recovered materials, and fossil fuel and energy consumption. This month-long event brings awareness to communities concerning the effects of E-Waste, and proper recycling practices.
