Melissa Sider Elected to NCOAUG Board of Directors

Feb. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- One of AST Corporation’s own will help lead the Oracle Applications community in the Midwest for the next few years.  The North Central Oracle Applications Users Group (NCOAUG) announced that Ms. Melissa Sider has been elected to its Board of Directors.  Ms. Sider is Manager of Business Development for AST Corporation.

“It is an honor to be elected to the Board,” said Ms. Sider.  “With my many years of volunteer experience with the NCOAUG, I believe my participation as a Board member will have a positive impact on the direction of the OAUG (Oracle Applications Users Group) at a regional and national level.”

Ms. Sider’s previous volunteer contributions include: A leadership position for four years with the OAUG Education Committee; Chair and Co-Chair of the paper selection team for four years for the Collaborate Conference; Numerous positions on the Leadership Team for ten years for the OAUG UPK SIG (User Productivity Kit Special Interest Group).

Ms. Sider has nearly 20 years of experience designing and delivering education solutions for Oracle E-Business Suite, and has successfully managed more than two dozen Oracle projects.  Additionally, Ms. Sider has the distinction of being the first employee of AST to be elected to the NCOAUG Board.

Established in 1994 as the North Central geographic region of the Oracle Applications User Group, the NCOAUG has over 2,300 registered members from around North America and maintains free membership. The purpose of the NCOAUG is to inform and educate its members on current and future Oracle Applications, while offering a forum of peers for sharing experience and knowledge in the enterprise technology realm. The NCOAUG is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization serving the seven state region including Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio.
