-- The award-winning artist and drum-maker based in Cave Creek, Arizona known as StuART Drums provides giclee fine art prints of original acrylics paintings of the faces of the old west. These mainly focus on Native American portraits. A giclee fine art print is a reproduction that is superior in quality to most reproductions of artwork found on the market today. The artwork originals are at very high resolution with a 400 megapixel custom made flat lens that ensures complete, total accuracy. These are printed onto canvas or cotton paper with specialized high resolution printers. Because these are photographed at such a high resolution (typical photography is done at 10 to 24 megapixels), these giclee paintings can be reproduced up to 4 times larger than the original with no loss of detail, quality, or resolution.
Stu Braks is the award-
winning artist and drum-maker of StuART Drums. He is based locally in Cave Creek, Arizona. His artwork originates from his interests in drumming, the Old West, and Native American culture. Stu's specialty is painting the faces of the old west, currently focusing on a series of Native American portraits. He uses acrylics to paint his subjects both on canvas and on his handmade hoop drums. Stu's goal is to capture the dignity, character, emotion and spirit of the subjects, and to bring those feelings to the viewer. StuART Drums not only features handmade hoop drums, but also feature fine art prints, djembe drums, custom hoop drums, and other percussion instruments.
