Make sure the eye protection is in a wearable condition. Is the prescription up to date?

Check that eye protection fits comfortably, properly and will stay in place,

Brush or shake dust and debris from hardhats, hair, forehead, or the top of the eye protection before removing the safety glasses.

Do not rub your eyes with dirty hands, gloves, or clothing.

Clean safety eyewear regularly and have the frames adjusted at regular intervals.
