Electronic artist King George (VIII) releases debut single on indie label Heart & Thief

Talented newcomer King George (VIII) drops debut single “Butterfly Bomb” on Asheville-based indie label Heart & Thief.
Feb. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Up and coming Norwegian electronic artist King George (VIII) dropped his debut single “Butterfly Bomb” this week on Asheville-based independent record label Heart & Thief. The track will be available on iTunes and elsewhere March 19th but is available now for a limited time as a free download from http://emailunlock.com/heartandthief/king-george-viii-butterfly

Featuring vocalist Sondre Nystrøm, “Butterfly Bomb” strikes all the right chords with listeners, settles into a happy groove right away, and paces nicely until the listener can hardly resist clapping along. It is a fine piece of electropop from a fresh, young artist.

King George (VIII) is the stage name of George Ofori from Trondheim, Norway, who states that he “is the product of a cultural blend which manifests in his music” with songs “about love, dreams and anxiety inspired by French electronica, tribal Ghanaian highlife and pompous, haunting baroque-sounds.”

King George’s full length album Panafricano: We Will Do Great Things will be released on Heart & Thief in May 2013.

Heart & Thief is a independent record label for electronic music based in Asheville, North Carolina.
