TDX supports Credit Action financial education programme for young people

Feb. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Following the recent announcement of financial capability charity Credit Action’s expansion of financial education workshops in schools across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, 12 TDX staff have signed up to deliver workshops in Nottinghamshire over the next 12 months. TDX Group has also agreed to provide funding in support of the programme.

The TDX staff members will be trained by Credit Action and will then deliver one hour presentations on managing finances in schools around the county. These will enable young people to develop the skills and attitudes to manage their money responsibly in future.

Michelle Highman, chief executive of Credit Action said, “Financial education is essential for all young people. It is vital that we empower young people to understand and stay on top of their money throughout their lives. We are delighted that TDX is supporting us, and thank their staff for volunteering their time to ensure that young people have a good financial foundation to start adult life.”
