-- CHANDLER (AZ)—
Brighton Publishing LLC proudly announces the addition of W.J. Walker’s third dramatic novel, “A New Beginning
” to the global Print On Demand (POD) catalogue for the rapidly growing Espresso Book Machine (http://ondemandbooks.com/)
. W.J. Walker continues where her previous novel, “Memories: A Story of Rediscovery”
leaves off. A New Beginning
presents a stirring look into the lives of Garrett and Sydney as they marry and begin their new journey together. A New Beginning
is currently distributed in print through Ingram, the world’s largest book distributor, and is available in both print and eBook format from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other leading book retailers worldwide.
When Sydney left her career as a hospital Emergency Director and Garrett moved on from the FBI, thoughts of tragic and traumatic events slowly begin to fade from their minds. Now, what they both want—and need—is a simple life breeding horses. What they get, however, is something far worse than either of them could ever imagine.
The proverbial storms of life begin raging when Sydney’s friend Janet is murdered by a demented ex-boyfriend and Garrett’s brother Kevin is critically injured trying to protect her.
Gabby, a horse-whispering trainer, is brought in to function as a part-time trainer and part-time therapist for Kevin while he recovers from his wounds.
Soon, Sydney discovers that a drug cartel member named Jose’, an extremely dangerous and unpredictable man whom Garrett had locked up years earlier, has just escaped from prison, and his mind is set on one thing—revenge.
With Garrett out of town and the FBI standing by in a limited role, Sydney is faced once again with the most critical of decisions; stand and fight or…flee.
“Walker does justice to both crime and romance readers alike as she crafts a plausible plot replete with harrowing events capable of shaking her readers to the core,” said Kathie McGuire, director of Brighton Publishing LLC. “A New Beginning
is fueled by both traumatic events and joyful experiences with vivid action scenes and highly capable characters.”
W.J. Walker is a retired Registered Nurse with experience in some of America’s busiest metropolitan emergency rooms. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing, and has drawn heavily from her career for this novel. She lives in Michigan with her husband and their yellow lab, Lucy, and their tabby cat, Rusty.
