Feb. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Fairview Microwave is announcing an offering of a new product: 2.92 40 ghz couplers.  Couplers are needed when trying to separate a signal or the instance when you need to combine two signals.  The 2.92 is typically a high precision connector used in many test applications and high frequency applications.  The 2.92 interface is structured very similar to the SMA but is intended for much higher frequencies as the SMA is limited to 18 ghz, 27 ghz when modified.  2.92 connectors can be mated with SMA's as long you're careful, paying much attention to alignment when mating.
