New Website For Drumboy Lodge Self Catering Accommodation A Great Success !

Feb. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Drumboy Lodge is a family run 4 star self catering accommodation situated in the sleepy village of Drumclog, near Strathaven, South Lanarkshire. Built nine years ago by Tom and Gillian Dunbar, it has proved to be a firm favourite for families wishing to visit Scotland to meet up with family or friends or for exploring Scotland.

A decision was taken in 2012 to modernise their old and tired website with a slick new one. A web designer was found and a new template for the business was created. After much hair pulling (and eating of chocolate!!), Gillian managed to input all the information required and they launched their new website last week.

Marketing advice was then saught, and now armed with the 'tricks of the trade' they set to work with renewed vigour getting it ranked on the internet. When the number first came up, it was close to 14m, and it seemed an insurmountable task, but through dogged determination (and more chocolate !!) it is now ranked at just over 2m on the WWW and at just over 41k in the UK.

Gillian advises she has now taken up running for a few days (to loose the extra chocolate calories!) but will be back at the computer again next week to push that number lower still.
