Conveyor manufacturer Sovex expands into new markets with exhibition space at highprofile trade fair

Feb. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- CONVEYOR manufacturer Sovex is expanding into new markets with exhibition space at a high-profile trade fair.

The Wirral-based company, which specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of conveyor systems, has ambitious sales plans for 2013, including breaking into new sectors such as warehousing and retail.

Managing director David Lindfield will be joined by three members of the Sovex team at IMHX which takes place in Birmingham next month.

As well as exhibiting a roller conveyor system Sovex will be showcasing their invention the Bendy Boom – a single vehicle loading system that can load and unload any height and length of lorry or van – which saves customers’ money and time.

The bestseller won Sovex the Innovation and Creativity Award at the Wirral Business Awards 2012 and is being exhibited for the first time in the UK.

Now Sovex are taking it on the road with them to IMHX hoping to wow new clients in warehousing, third party logistics, distribution and retail, with its capabilities.

IMHX will put Sovex products and services in front of the 20,000 logistics professionals that attend the four day event.

Sovex’s products are widely used within the parcel industry and it counts UK Mail, DHL and Yodel among its many blue chip clients.

But with so many applications for Sovex products and services in other sectors the sales team are targeting new markets where products like the Bendy Boom could boost new clients’ bottom line.

Mr Linfield said: “Exhibiting at shows like IMHX is a great way to showcase what we can offer potential new customers. In the current economic climate it’s more important than ever before to boost productivity and maximise what your workforce can achieve in a single shift.
