“Challenges and Opportunities in International Humanitarian Response"
All are invited to attend an Ambassadors’ Roundtable breakfast lecture by Carlos Carrazana, "Challenges and Opportunities in International Humanitarian Response”. Stamford Yacht Club, 3/6/13, 7:15-9 am.
Carlos Carrazana joined Save the Children as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in June 2012. He brings 25 years of global management experience in the private and non-profit sectors to his new role as COO.
Prior to his role at Save the Children, Mr. Carrazana served as COO of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and vice president of health services and private sector alliances for Abt Associates’ international division. Previously, he served at Deloitte & Touche’s emerging markets division as managing director of the Summa Foundation. He began his career in international banking.
Mr. Carrazana earned his undergraduate degree at Bentley University and his MBA from the Kogod School of Business at American University. He also received a Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He currently resides in Washington, DC.
The cost for the breakfast and presentation is free for AR series members and $50 for the general public. The event will start at 7:15 A.M. with coffee and networking followed by a full breakfast buffet at 7:30. The presentation will begin at 8 A.M. and Mr. Carrazana will take questions.
