Feb. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Princeton, NJ - Ram Iyer, Founder and CEO of The Midmarket Institute recently returned from the The Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors® (AM&AA) conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The 2013 Corporate Performance Management Conference presented the latest thinking about the most critical aspects of finance today, from working capital management, cost modeling, and risk management to strategy and talent development. The information-packed two-day event, offered valuable insight on how corporate financial peers at leading companies are linking finance with IT to drive performance, refining their M&A strategies, and deciding how to structure their workforces around the globe for maximum effectiveness.  Several 100 corporate financial advisors were in attendance.

According to Iyer, “All companies are focused on driving performance but very few have a program and relevant tools to track and manage the right metrics to achieve it.  This was a very useful conference with speakers from traditional businesses like YellowPages.com to transportation giant DHL and industry experts on CPM.  Midmarket companies can leverage a lot of these learnings to identify the right metrics and track them.”

The Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors® (AM&AA) is the premiere International Organization serving the educational and resource needs of the middle market M&A profession.
