By: USOH A “Certificate of High Recognition” Calling Rajan Zed “a true friend of Buddhism”, this Certificate, signed by RBC priest Reverend Jikai’ Phil Bryan and manager Sei Chiku Matthew Fisher, stated: “Rajan has worked diligently for people of all faiths leading to better understanding, tolerance, and friendly interactions… “Rajan’s work has lead to respectful discourse and opportunities for finding common ground in working together for social improvements. Rajan continually sets higher standards in offering ways for faith groups to interact for educational benefits of all. Rajan’s achievements have inspired citizens of Nevada, The United States, and the world”, it noted. “Rajan has contributed to development of “Best Practices” in interfaith dialogue…We are enthusiastic about Rajan Zed’s interfaith leadership because we know it is for everyone”, this Certificate added. As a sign of respect, RBC made Zed its first Honorary Member, which would include him and his family in “specific Buddhist blessings, prayers, and meditations.” Rajan Zed has taken up interfaith, religion, environment, Roma (Gypsies) and other causes all over the world. He has read opening prayers in United States Senate, various state senates and houses of representatives, counties and city councils all over USA. He was invited by President of European Parliament in Brussels (Belgium) for a meeting to promote interfaith dialogue. Many cities in USA have named October 25 as “Rajan Zed Day”.
