Curves voted most-loved business in national competition
Ladies only gym has been voted Wrexham’s most loved business in thebestofwrexham’s annual 14-Days of Love campaign.
The votes came in thick and fast up until the last minute and, despite a late burst from runner-up Aballu Chocolatier and last year’s winners Jolly Good Van Hire, Curves held on to claim the title. Hundreds of reviews were received as the people of Wrexham voted in their droves.
Hannah Wright, Owner of Curves, said “'We're thrilled to be voted 'Wrexham's Most Loved Business'. Happy clients and a good reputation are a priority for us; we're so pleased that our customers rate our service so highly. We'd like to say a very big thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us and to all of our lovely members for making Curves such a fun and friendly place to exercise. A big thank you to thebestof for running the campaign; it's a fantastic idea, a great way to highlight local businesses and really puts the power in the customer's hands. It's a brilliant tool to collect valuable feedback too. We'll be working hard now to maintain, and hopefully improve our service to keep our members loving Curves!”
The 14-Days of love is run across the UK every year and anyone who leaves a review was eligible to win some great prizes, including luxury hampers, a Ferrari driving experience and dinner in a Michelin starred restaurant.
Morgan Nunns, Managing Director of thebestofwrexham, said “It’s been really exciting to see such a huge number of people actively talking about the great local businesses and demonstrating their feelings by voting in the 14-Days of Love. It just goes to show how much our communities are supporting their local independent businesses, which is great news for the British high street during these difficult economic times. Small businesses are the engine room of our economy and lots of local business owners – and their loyal staff – are feeling great today because their efforts have been recognised and appreciated by so many of their customers.”
