1st Alliance Lending sponsors Make-A-Wish event

Feb. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- 1st Alliance Lending, the Hartford-based mortgage and lending company, has partnered with several other area firms to sponsor Make-A-Wish Connecticut’s annual “Evening of Wishes” gala on March 23, 2013.

Held at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, this year’s event will honor five local children that have received a “wish” from the foundation. This year’s theme is “Red Carpet,” and will feature the music of the Bernadettes. Guests will bid on live and silent auction items.

Joe D’Ambrosio, voice of the UConn Huskies, and 100.5 mid-day host Joan Dylan will be the co-hosts along with the Red Carpet emcees Kerri-Lee Mayland and Brad Drazen of NBC Connecticut. Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine of the Food Network’s “Restaurant: Impossible” is the honorary event chair. Irvine will create and present the exclusive dinner menu live for event guests.

The mission of Make-A-Wish Connecticut is to grant wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy, according to the Make-A-Wish Connecticut website.
