ANTARIS SOLAR opens first branch office in Tokyo, Japan
ANTARIS SOLAR, a German provider of photovoltaic technology, has opened an office in Tokyo to make its high performance module series and PV products available throughout Japan.
The office is situated in the Chuo district near Kanda Station in central Tokyo. It is run by Tetsuro Uragami, ANTARIS SOLAR Japan Country Manager, and his team of photovoltaic experts. Andrew Moore, ANTARIS SOLAR International Sales Director, said: “I am delighted that the Tokyo office is now open and look forward to building a long term business in Japan. Our success will be based on ANTARIS SOLAR’s unique combination of quality, price, warranty, service and long term stability.”
Shortly after the official launch of its Tokyo office, ANTARIS SOLAR concluded a contract with Clean Energy Japan, a company located in the Fukushima area, who ordered a Megawatt of 230 Watt polycrystalline modules. First contact with Clean Energy had been established at the PV Japan trade fair 2012 in December, where ANTARIS SOLAR was preparing the Japanese office launch.
Clean Energy president Hiroshi Kanayama said: “We are happy to work with ANTARIS SOLAR, as they offer not only good pricing and fast delivery conditions but also outstanding warranties on their modules. This is a very important aspect in the field of photovoltaics where components have to be reliable for decades.”
