Feb. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- The SLANTRESS “Inspire” Awards will acknowledge and celebrate 30 women in 20 diverse categories while encouraging and inspiring every woman to make a difference.

Join SLANTRESS Magazine on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 7pm-10pm at the Gordon Center located at 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue in Owings Mills, Maryland for a star-studded event of historic proportion!

The Inspire Awards will showcase performing talents and provide the well-deserved notoriety of the women that have appeared in the various issues of the SLANTRESS magazine along with many others who have put in the work without recognition. The sole focus of the ceremony is to inspire and uplift the spirits of women and give notice to the positive movement happening amongst them.

Ann Nesby – Lead singer from the Grammy award-winning group, Sounds of Blackness

Brett Gay – R&B singer, daughter of singer Rudy Gay Sr. formerly of the group Ace Spectrum

Tarralyn Ramsey – From the NBC hit show “The Voice”

Chelsey Green – from The Chelsey Green Project, violinist extraordinaire

Nalani Madison Hasty – 8year old Orator – "Speaks words that will change the world!"

Western High School – Dance Troop – 2012 National dance Champions

Jody Davis Design – showcasing her designer skills on the catwalk!

Stacy Lattisaw – Guest Speaker  and Author of “I Am Not The Same Girl”

Princess Jenkins – Renowned NY business women and Founder of “Who the Boss” and “Women in the Black”

EC3 – Music Director -a second generation musician who has performed for Guys & Dolls,  Ain’t Misbehavin’, Bourbon Street Review, and A Chorus Line. He was the first black to perform in the orchestra pit in Las Vegas opening for Lorretta Hollway, Jay Leno, Bill Cosby, Whoopi Goldberg and many more!
