New Idea Incubator by Anchorage, Alaska Web Design Company

Feb. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- NorthWest Data Solutions (NWDS), an Anchorage, Alaska Web design and development company founded in 2003, announce today that it will soon start a new idea incubator program to stimulate Alaska business development and entrepreneurship.

NWDS started operating in Anchorage, Alaska in 2003 (http://www.nwds-ak.com). Their first projects included secure Web applications for Department of Defense contractors, ranging from logistical supply chain Web applications to secure Web services. Since 2003, NWDS has worked in several industries, including engineering, transportation, financial, medical and financial. NWDS' early projects were developed for external clients. In 2007, NWDS started their first "internal" project called SMS Pro. NWDS' SMS Pro project started small and eventually grew to include customers in North America, South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. NWDS gained considerable expertise over the years developing, supporting and marketing enterprise grade Web applications.

NWDS is a for-profit organization based in Anchorage, Alaska. They are now seeking additional projects that have merit, but which owners may not have the technological resources to develop and deliver to market. Developing software requires considerable expense. CEO Christopher Howell adds, "Just because you build it, does not mean the market will come. NWDS is limiting projects that can be delivered on the Web. NWDS' core competency is developing and marketing Web applications; therefore, NWDS will not introduce additional risk by developing projects outside its comfort zone.
