Mr. Ron Reed, Executive Producer SXSWedu Honored for Thought Leadership in Education

Feb. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- PR with Panache! is thrilled to announce the success of its inaugural Educational Thought Leadership Series at TCEA.  At PR with Panache! we love a good story, as such,  Mr. Ron Reed, Executive Producer, SXSWedu, and his story have been named the first recipient of the inaugural PR with Panache! Thought Leadership Series Award. This award showcases the contributions of extraordinary thought leaders in the field of education.  The event, which took place during the TCEA conference in Austin, TX, pulled education industry experts from around the world to honor Reed’s groundbreaking work, dedication and talent in pushing the boundaries of creativity in education.

Reed launched SXSWedu in 2011, a convergence event focused on innovations in learning, for an audience of key stakeholders including education professionals as well as representatives from business and industry, and the legislative and policy arenas.

Under Reed’s leadership SXSWedu 2012 grew by more than 250% as it expanded its focus to K-12 and Higher Education. SXSWedu 2013, to be held March 4-7 in Austin is again expected to more than double in size with 4,000–5,000 registrants.
