"America’s Addiction to Entitlements: Not What the Governed Meant"

Eddie R. Dunlap CRNA, DNP Asks the Tough Questions in New Political Commentary

Feb. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Is America becoming bogged down with entitlements? As political ideology heats up between conservatives and liberals battling for the will of the people, this important issue is now under the spotlight.

America’s Addiction to Entitlements: Not What the Governed Meant offers a look at what entitlements are doing to the country. Following in the footsteps of early philosophers, the founders of the United States forged a new governance model, where individual sovereignty and personal liberty enabled us a glimpse of our own potential if unabated by the tyranny and oppression of government.

The author believes that liberals have facilitated a slow decline from the heights of true freedom to a new level of slavery. Social programs with good intentions have led Americans into chronic dependency, destroying the independent character that was uniquely American. Can we regain our stature and defeat the entitlement mentality?
