employees Stephanie Dineen and Sarah Bie posed with Klaus Obermeyer for a picture. He is the founder of Sports Obermeyer. The 93 year old with 65 years in the snow sports industry has grown his company from an initialparka built from a down comforter, to one of the most well-known brands in the ski industry. Today, Obermeyer continues to set trends among winter apparel brands, using sustainable fabrics and eco-friendly manufacturing processes. Alpin Haus’ crew also attended an awards ceremony in Denver, where our ski shop manager, Jamie Georgelos, was formally awarded the title of "Shop Hero" from Skiing Business Magazine. The magazine gave the coveted title to only three ski shop employees nationwide after fans voted on their videos. As part of his reward, Mr. Georgelos will enjoy a ski trip to Utah later this month.
Alpin Haus has proven again its continuous effort not only to serve, but to be proactive within the snow sports community and beyond.
