-- Agile Sciences announced today the issuance of US Patent 8,367,713, which provides for additional intellectual property coverage of Agile Sciences’ novel Agilyte® compounds. This patent is the fourth US patent issued to date covering Agile Sciences’ proprietary technology. Collectively, these patents provide Agile Sciences with a strong IP portfolio as the company seeks to develop and commercialize its innovative technology.
Agile Sciences’ co-founder, Dr. Christian Melander, commented, “This patent strengthens Agile Sciences’ intellectual property position, and provides key protection for a potent class of molecules consisting of imidazole-triazole derivatives.”
