AB Weddings & Special Events Hosts Fundraiser “Jazz & Blues Night" with Buddy Sampson and Friends

Feb. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- AB Weddings & Special Events is proud to host “Jazz and Blues” Night, with Bassist/Composer Buddy Sampson, a benefit for Children’s Hospital.  It will be on March 2nd, 2013, from 8-1 at the beautiful Naya Sunset Restaurant and Lounge, at 3705 W. Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90026. The red carpet starts at 7 PM.  Please join them for a very special evening featuring Jazz, Blues and Funk.  There will be delicious Appetizers sponsored by AB Weddings & Special Events and an Open Cash Bar to the Public. Tickets are $10 a person, 100% go to proceeds to Children’s Hospital.

Buddy Sampson, widely known in Los Angeles as the Publisher of The Scoop LA, www.thescoopla.com, is a talented bassist and songwriter. He has written for independent film and performed in several countries, including the British Virgin Islands, Germany, Switzerland, Costa Rica and France. In 1999, he performed with singer Larry Woodley for the Montreux Jazz Festival and had the opportunity to jam with legendary guitarist Steve Cropper and rocker legend Edgar Winter. His original compositions and chops will be on display at Naya Restaurant. Opening the show will be The Scribes, featuring jazz journalist Scott Yanow on saxophone, classical writer for The LA Times’ Richard Ginell on keyboards, Dean Rohan on drums and Buddy Sampson on bass. Adding blues and R&B to the show will be local legend JD Hall. Closing the show will be Buddy Sampson and Friends, featuring violinist Rachel Grace.
