Feb. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Jelson Homes has kicked off the new year by donating over £1,000 to charity, after swapping bubbles for beans.

This is all thanks to Jelson’s trainee design engineer, Louise Moore from Whetstone, Leicester, who braved the outdoors in a bikini and sat in a bath of baked beans for four hours, at Jelson’s Hallam Fields development, in Birstall. The amount raised has been donated to Children in Need.

Louise said: “My aim was to raise £500 – and we’ve smashed that target, so I’m really thrilled. I enjoyed taking part in the challenge, but beans on toast is definitely off the menu for a while!”

To find out more about these new homes in Birstall, visit the show home, open 11am–5pm, daily. Alternatively, contact the sales office: 0116 267 7762 or the head-office sales department: 0116 266 1541 | www.jelson.co.uk
