New Aviation SMS Policies and Procedures Enhancements

Feb. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Airlines and airports must have a process for documenting regulations by which they are regulated. This documentation often reside in approved aviation SMS manuals or their aviation safety management software programs. This aviation SMS documentation must be readily available to all employees. These requirements are mandated by the ICAO SMS regulation that appeared in November 2006.

In 2007, Web based SMS Pro was developed specifically for these aviation industry SMS requirements (http://www.asms-pro.com). In February 2013, SMS Pro enhanced the Policies and Procedures module significantly to allow airlines and airports to be notified automatically when procedures or processes are failing.
