By: Mad Web The 406 Family Aid Foundation (The Hemry Foundation) was started in 2009 by a group of concerned friends and family member of the Hemry Family. A local boy named Kaelen Hemry was born premature with a number of medical problems throughout his young life. At ten years old he was air lifted from Missoula, Montana to Salt Lake City children’s hospital for replacement of shunts in his brain. Because of these extreme medical problems the Hemry family became inundated with medical bills. A benefit auction and dinner was held in November 2009 with overwhelming success. Upon completion, the Hemry Foundation was born with the mission statement: “To aid persons and their families in Western Montana who are experiencing financial hardship caused by unforeseen illness, complications of previous illness, loss in family or natural disaster.” With the help of The 406 Family Aid Foundation (The Hemry Foundation), the Ellis family is holding a bingo and silent auction/raffle to benefit Ed Ellis in hopes of relieving the financial hardship the whole family is facing. Many families each year are faced with sudden and unexpected disasters and/or medical circumstances. As a community it is important to come together and support the local people in times of need. The event will be held at the Silver Slipper Sports Bar & Grill, 4055 Brooks Street, Missoula, MT. 59804 on February 26 at 5:30 p.m. Donations can also be made at http://www.hemry- End
