ETASIS Moves Factory to Taiwan

Feb. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- New Taipei City, Taiwan - ETASIS Electronics Corporation, the Taiwan-based redundant power supply manufacturer, shifted its production facility from Suzhou, China back to Taiwan.

The new factory is located within ETASIS corporate headquarters in Sanchong district, New Taipei City. ETASIS is scheduled to complete transferring operation from its old plant to the new facility around the Lunar New Year.

ETASIS joins a number of high-tech companies moving production from mainland China back to Taiwan in light of labor instabilityand increasing costs of labor.

When asked about concerns for the move, ETASIS general manager, Jim Chien explained, “We are excited and proud to be ‘Made in Taiwan’ again. A move back to Taiwan and the proximity of the facility will allow us to be more flexible, shorten lead-time and manufacture with a greater attention to detail.”
