Jacksonville, FL Bankruptcy Lawyer Also Serves in the Army National Guard

Feb. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Keith Maynard, a bankruptcy lawyer at the Jacksonville, Florida law firm Wood, Atter & Wolf, P.A., also has the distinction of serving as an Aviation Officer with the 29th Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB). Mr. Maynard has served since he was a senior in high school enlisting as an infantryman in the Maryland Army National Guard (MDARNG) in March of 1993.

Some of Mr. Maynard's accomplishments include becoming a Platoon Leader upon completion of the Infantry Basic Officer Course at Fort Benning during his time at the University of Delaware ROTC program. During his third year of law school, Mr. Maynard was called to active duty following September 11, 2001 in support of Operation Noble Eagle was deployed for one year. He completed law school at the end of his active service and began his legal career at the State of Maryland Office of the Public Defender. He then attended the Army Initial Entry Rotary Wing course at Ft. Rucker, Alabama and became a rated aviator in the UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter. He spent the next few years as a MEDEVAC team leader, Assault Company Commander, Battalion S2/S3, Battalion Liaison Officer, Brigade Liaison Officer, and an Assistant Brigade S3.

Mr. Maynard was called to active service again in August 2011 and was deployed to Iraq where he served in the Brigade Planning Cell where his duties included coordinating aviation support for ground forces, planning aviation operations and played a significant role in the planning effort to redeploy all U.S. Forces out of Iraq in 2001. Mr. Maynard was also involved in the planning and execution of the Vice President Joe Biden’s visit to Baghdad and the Secretary of Defense's participation in the Iraq Campaign End of Mission Ceremony. Maynard currently holds the rank of Captain.

Today, Mr. Maynard serves and represents his clients through the intricacies of bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, and other consumer debt related matters.
