By: For Players By Players LLC There is no off-season in the FFPC! While 2012 came to a close just a few days ago, the plans for the 2013 FFPC have already been at work for some time. Over the next few weeks, we will be making major announcements with regards to our other contests and games, introducing the 2013 Las Vegas venue, releasing the schedules, a brand new FFPC website, as well as many other newsworthy happenings with the FFPC. The FFPC has become the Home of High Stakes Fantasy Football for so many of you. Our goal continues to make this home an even more exciting and compelling place to play this wonderful hobby we all love. We’ve asked for the players’ trust and support and you have given it to us year in and year out. In return, we have promised to always give back to the players and hopefully you see us living up to these promises. Now, while all the rest of the plans are still being put together, we did want to wet your whistle with an announcement of a historic FFPC Main Event prize structure for the 2013 fantasy season. The Main Event prize structure is once again being increased at EVERY LEVEL: grand prize, championship round prizes and league prize. I will cover this prize structure in two parts on this email. Let's cover the Grand Prize and Championship round first. The Grand Prize is going from $200,000 to $250,000, or a quarter of a million dollars. We know some people argue that the Grand Prize is very difficult to win, but one of our players will win that huge Grand Prize. Just like Josh Neblett and Paul Miller were awarded $200,000 in 2012, we love to pay out that massive Grand Prize to our players. Also, the grand prize is always one of the biggest draws for any contest in any industry. We are certain that this new Quarter-Million dollar grand prize will be a great way to bring even more new players into the FFPC Main Event! Our Championship round prize structure is also increasing by a substantial amount with an additional $72,000 in guaranteed prizes. There is now over $400,000 in guaranteed prizes in the FFPC Main Event Championship round which will now pay down to 40th place. 2nd place is now up to $30,000, 3rd place moves up to $15,000 along with substantial other increases. Let's take a look at these league prizes in the context of the Early Bird pricing which is $1550 per team and $1450 for additional teams. For those who register early and take advantage of the early bird, the percentage of league payouts are an astounding 60% at the $1550 entry fee! FFPC Introduces the "Sweep" Bonus Regular Season Prizes (Weeks 1-11).
