New Jersey Enthusiast Wins 2012 Camaro Dream Giveaway!

Feb. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- The 2012 Camaro Dream Giveaway, a nationwide drawing sponsored by Kids Wish Network, came to an end on November 30, 2012. Ron Seppi from Metuchen, New Jersey, was the grand prize winner.

Mr. Seppi was awarded both a 1969 Camaro SS/RS and a matching 2012 Camaro SS/RS supercharged by SLP Performance to 770hp! In addition, Mr. Seppi received $35,000 cash to help pay the prize taxes.

The photo (see photo in press release) shows an excited Ron Seppi and his wife receiving the grand-prize. Mr. Seppi entered the Camaro Dream Giveaway on three separate occasions, each time making a $50 tax-deductible donation.

Mr. Seppi along with his wife Mickey accepted the prize package at the award ceremony on Friday, January 25, at Alternative Automotive Technologies in Detroit, Michigan. Key executives from DG Group and SLP Performance were on hand to see Mr. Seppi receive both Camaros. The keys to the Camaros were handed to Mr. Seppi by Patrick Meehan, President of DG Group and Carm Ross, Sales Manager of SLP Performance.

Mr. Seppi received the news that he won both Camaros via phone on Tuesday, December 11. “My heart was pounding,” Mr. Seppi said at the time, proclaiming that the news made him smile from ear to ear.

Everything started to sink in at the award ceremony when he got to see both Camaros in person for the first time, “It is clear that Dream Giveaway cares very much about the cars they select and the charities their giveaways benefit. The pleasure I have in receiving these cars is matched by the pleasure they derive in giving these cars away. I could not have chosen a better way to donate to worthwhile causes.”

As a result of donations received from this event, Kids Wish Network awarded grants to Camp Boggy Creek and Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer.
