Emmy Award Nominated Simmons & Shelley To Speak At WIFTA Kickoff
It’s confirmed. The powerhouse team of Tracey Baker-Simmons & Wanda Shelley will be two of the panelist speaking at this year’s Women In Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA) Kickoff on February 21, 2013, at Aurum Lounge in Atlanta, GA.
Baker-Simmons & Shelley, along with several other reality TV veterans, will guide the audience through the ins and outs of the phenomenon of reality television. They will answer important questions such as: Is reality a viable career? What are the opportunities and how much money can you make? What are the consequences of the images we're putting out there? Do we, as viewers, need to take responsibility?
In addition to the 2013 WIFTA Kickoff being a great platform to learn about the reality TV scene in Georgia and beyond, it is also an opportunity for all attendees to meet the new WIFTA Board of Directors, find out about upcoming WIFTA activities and learn how to become more involved in Georgia's film and television industry! Those looking to become members can also join WIFTA during the Annual Kickoff celebration.
