PRLog -- The Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection (GMPC) hosted the six-month review with the program Mentors and Protégés in attendance, on January 24, 2013 at the Wardlaw Arts Center on the campus of Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. Veronica Maldonado, GMPC Program Director reviewed the entire small business Protégé group's progress over the past six months with their Mentors and planned the next six months to finish the year long program with successes and future action plans.
In addition to the "Small Business Marketing Essentials" presentation, GiANT Impact, LLC's Justin Woelk announced the tremendous Atlanta hosted the simulcast live event for Chick-Fil-A LeaderCast Leadership Growth Seminar on May 10, 2013. LeaderCast is the premiere development event for leadership growth at all levels giving these leaders access to world-renowned content and outstanding celebrity guest speakers.
Ms. Judiffier Pearson, Business Consultant with Clayton State University Small Business Development Center gave an outstanding presentation on "Small Business Marketing Essentials". The key points of the presentation covered Marketing, Leadership, Branding and Digital Presence. One of the more impressive points that were reinforced was that of Small Businesses embracing the importance of social media marketing. As a group example, Hygun Group reiterated the talking point made by Ms. Pearson by showing the entire mentor/ protégé group Hygun's varied marketing platforms through Bizwire 3.0 Marketing techniques.
Hygun Group's Dan Hydrick, Heery International's Michele Brown-Rall, Onyx Media Service's Ted Cummings, Lockheed Martin's Vanessa Bull, and Delta Airlines' Protégé Syed Ahmed with VDArt Inc were among some of the Protégés and Mentors in attendance.
