Two New Orleans Law Firms To Lead Suit In Illinois State Court Against Cerberus Capital Management

(VRHD), reported that the Company's Form 10 K for its fiscal year ended September 30, 2012, filed with The Securities and Exchange Commission on January 25, 2013, stated that the New Orleans law firms of Fishman Haygood Phelps Walmsley Willis & Swanson LLP, and Jones, Swanson, Huddell & Garrison, LLC have joined the legal team that is handling the Company's Illinois State Court litigation against Cerberus Capital Management, Madeleine, LLC, Stephen Feinberg, Gordon Brothers Capital Corp. (subsidiary of Bank of America) and Warren Feder.

The former CEO of the Company, also a plaintiff, suggested that the Company contact the Fishman Haygood firm because a senior partner of the firm, many years earlier, had been with a firm that provided legal services to a subsidiary of the Company. The Fishman Haygood and Jones Swanson firms often combine their substantial experience in handling significant and often complex commercial litigation in order to offer comprehensive representation to their clients, as they will do in their representation of the Company.

In the litigation, VRDH asserts contract-liability claims against Cerberus, Gordon, and others.
