Feb. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- 2013 marks the 30th anniversary of John Bollinger’s creation of Bollinger Bands. Since their introduction they have become one of the most widely used technical indicators worldwide. They earned their popularity because they are so effective in helping traders assess expected price action—information vital to trading profitably.

Bollinger Bands can be applied in all the financial markets including equities, forex, commodities, and futures and they can be used in most time frames from very short-term periods, to hourly, daily, weekly or monthly.

On Saturday Bollinger will teach the Bollinger Band tools; in the morning the classic tools like %b, BandWidth, M&W patterns, The Squeeze, The Bulge,    Volume Indictors and BB Accummulation. In the afternoon he will teach new Bollinger Band tools, like BBImpulse, BBTrend, BBMomentum, BBindex and BBPersist.  Sunday will be devoted to the application of Bollinger Bands, including trading systems and Bollinger Band trading patterns. Due to popular demand, one Sunday session will be dedicated to some of the Bollinger Band online services and their features.

Attendees will receive a bonus DVD of the entire seminar so they can review the materials again at their leisure. A free three-month subscription to BollingerOnBollingerBands is also a bonus to seminar attendees.

There will be an introductory half-day session prior to the two day event to review the history and basics of Bollinger Bands, introduce %b and BandWidth and demonstrate several core Bollinger Band applications. This is offered for traders who are new to Bollinger Bands and want to learn the essentials or for long time users who want to review the basics. The pre-seminar session is separately priced for anyone who wants to attend just this session, but it is free to full seminar attendees.

The Bollinger Band 2013 Seminar is being held at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel, for easy access to LAX with the hotel’s free airport shuttle.

For full details about the seminar see

Says Bollinger “This meeting gives me the opportunity to share my work, including my newest indicators. In these volatile markets solid investment tools and discipline are more important than ever.”

The seminar will have limited registration to keep the event small and personal. John Bollinger is hosting a dinner on Saturday night for the attendees for more informal interaction.

The seminar dates are April 12-14. Early registration discounts are available until 3/15/13.
