Ubuntu Claimed To Release Smart Phone Better Than Android 
and iOS

Feb. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- UBUNTU is one famous Linux operating system. Authorized company of Ubuntu has claimed that they are come up with a smart phone version challenging for android and Apple’s iOS based smart phone devices.

The company has disclosed about their release in Last Vegas during a consumer electronic show. The company has indicated that soon they will introduce a smart phone version in the market with better use of gesture control. It has also claimed that the smart phone device they are working will deliver double functions of PC.

It follows unique business model that generate revenue through sale of paid tech support and associated allied services.  It is also making money through advertisements of companies on desktop in its newer version. It has been reported that new software developing at Ubuntu is seem to be more gesture control and better services in compare of android and iOS.

Ubuntu based smart phone will be available with free and open source platform like Ubuntu operating systems available for desktop computers. The development of phone will be based around the Kernel that is created by Google for Android. Canonical had launched Ubuntu for android platform which enable users to run Ubuntu desktop system on high end smart while connecting to peripheral devices like keyboard, display screen etc. This was launched in last year.  

Canonical has not announced anything about their tie-ups with phone companies and handset makers. Anything will depend upon the level of acceptance in developer community and open source movement.
